Users - Get started with Pulse Health App

Step 1 - Download

Download and install Pulse Health App from the Google Play or Apple App Stores. Or click on the web app icon (in the top right) to use the web app

Step 2 - Login

Log in with NHSmail Single Sign On (your NHSmail email and password), or set up an account with your organisation’s NHS federated email address (we will verify your email account automatically through our directory)

Step 3 - Setup Pin

Set up your pin code (which you will require after 15 mins of inactivity), and complete your user profile

Step 4 - Complete Profile Information

Complete your profile with as much information as you can. Please include your job title, ward, specialty, department and site, as applicable

Step 5 - NHS Directory

Use the Full NHS Directory to search, find and invite your colleagues to Pulse Health App. You can use the filters or direct-search functionality

Step 6 - Find Your Colleague and Invite

Once you have found your colleague, you can either click to chat, or if they are not currently a Pulse Health App user, you will see an ‘invite’ option next to their name. Simply click ‘Invite’ and an email invite will be sent to their NHS or NHS-federated email account

Step 7 - Chat, Group Chat, etc

Chat, group chat, voice call, video call and send images, videos and files securely. Check back regularly for new features and upgrades. Stay safe and keep your finger on the Pulse
